My Grace Is Sufficient For You What was Paul’s thorn in his flesh? I have been praying the Lord would give me a Word for 2024. And just peacefully left it at that. He is never late. This past week I kept hearing My Grace is sufficient for you. When the Lord begins to give me a Word, Teaching or Message it always begins with hearing His still small voice(most but not all of the time). So as I heard it several times this week, it was so soft and subtle. I just received it as Him reminding me of His Word as He always done in our conversations throughout the day. But when I notice something on repeat that is my heads up to pay attention that it is not just for me. I can't say enough how I love this. The Word "content" is a Word that many in the ministry hear from me quite often. The Holy Spirit is always speaking saying about how Paul had learned to be content. Content speaking of staying in the Peace of the Lord. This is very important for all of us to be able to learn this. But this placement of the Word "content" was placed in a different scripture that I had not noticed before. After around the 3rd time of hearing My Grace Is Sufficient, I quickly went to His Word and looked up the verse which I could not remember where it was in context with its neighboring verses. I have read this part countless times but didn't remember that it was in Paul speaking of his trip to the 3rd heavens, Paradise. I am very focused on this part of Paul's teaching since a little over a year ago when the Holy Spirit pointed it out to me. I know for myself that I can read scriptures over and over but not see them openly until the Lord opens my eyes to certain understandings about them. I think we are all that way to some degree. I will save this part for a soon coming Interview that will be coming out shortly, maybe this Friday. I was interviewed again by Taina Jara from A God-Led Life channel on You Tube. This was my 2nd interview with her that covered my Near Death experience, which was much like Paul's. 2 Corinthians 12: 3And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— 4and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter ( I am excited to see it, I forget most of what I said) Because of all the incredible experiences that Paul encountered throughout his ministry he explains here in these opening verses about the thorn in his side. 2 Corinthians 5On behalf of this man I will boast(the man who went to Paradise), but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses— 6though if I should wish to boast, I would not be a fool, for I would be speaking the truth; but I refrain from it, so that no one may think more of me than he sees in me or hears from me. 7So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. 8Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. As we see here what Paul is saying that because of his life when it very abundant with the miraculous he came to an understanding that this thorn was given to him to keep him humble to not be able to become conceited. Another thing I would love to throw in here is about the Thorn in his side. I know because of my own wonderings for many years as to what was this Thorn? Many beyond count have written on this subject. So now that I feel very sure for myself I would like to point out that in the verse itself gives the answer as to what the Thorn was. Verse 7 a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. The timing for me for this understanding was not until I entered into this Ministry the Lord has charged me with of Healing & Deliverance. Almost very time I step out with something, afterward I am attacked by the enemy. I think it is very close to what Paul explains here. It is like a thorn in my side. But the Lord has been very faithful to comfort me through it and I have now learned to recognize it and command it to go. But most of the time now I just see it as confirmation and that many will be ministered to through whatever it is that I put out there. I am certain that many of you here also that are ministering in one way or another experience this as well and I pray this will help you. I am always here to help you understand it better. ( I am just going with the Holy Spirit here, I did not know this would all be covered) So this is where the Lord brought His peace to Paul when He spoke, 9But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. I believe that those of us, which I pray are many here, which minister for the Lord ( whatever your called to do for Him) have a thorn in the flesh of some type or another. It is such a great honor and reward to know and experience the Holy Spirit working through us, that we who are still trapped in a body of flesh needing to be kept in check and reminded that it is not us who is ministering but the power of God. That in itself can be a UNKNOWING temptation that needs to be humbled at times. But in that experience of carrying a Thorn in our side, He is speaking to us this year 2024 that His Grace Is Sufficient. It is in His Grace that we receive revelation knowledge that "For the sake of Christ we can learn to be content with our weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions and calamities. Because when we become weak through this is when Christ becomes strong in us. It is a humbling that takes place through these things that brings us to the remembrance and be able to walk under that humbleness of these different situations that it is only through Christ that we can be strong. Nothing in ourselves as any man can boast. So now as I am reflecting back on this message here I am seeing why this message? It's very obvious that we are going to be very wide open in ministry. Remember according to the Jewish Calendar that this year is a year of Open Doors and also an Open Mouth which is also explained as to Speaking Out Loud and Prophesying into the atmosphere. I am adding also into that because He has been having the ministry here speaking further that we are to be Speaking His Truth In Love. We are up against so much in this day with all the false teachers and false prophets who are speaking to the itching ears and using twisted truth to persuade and deceive many into lies. So I truly believe that 2024 is going to be a very busy year for God's people. I do believe also that He has shown me that the Shakings will be increasing as He continues to wake up those who are still asleep and for those in denial of the day and hour we are in. As the Shakings increase, I see them as He told us they will be as with the Birth Pains. They will come more frequent and harder as they increase. There will come a day that there will be no denying that His return is Immanent, although those who choose to ignore have already made their choice of whom they serve. At that time we will have done what we've been called to do and He will call us HOME! Only the Father knows of that day and hour. But we have the signs all around us, just as we know summer is near by the changes of the leaves on the tree's so shall we know that His coming is near. Hold fast to all that He has given you and know that “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”! God be with us all!
